The Honda Civic has been in production since 1976 and has evolved through ten generations. Available in both three- and five-door variants, the Civic is approved for towing across most models, with the exception of the Type R. In 2013, Honda introduced the Civic Tourer estate, offering impressive boot space alongside the refined interior of the hatchback.

In the same year, the Civic won the Best Green Tow Car award. With both hatchback and estate versions available, it remains one of the most popular tow cars across the UK and Europe.

Since its UK launch in 2002, the Honda Jazz has gained a strong reputation for reliability and outstanding interior space for its size. We offer a wide selection of towbar options for Honda Jazz models from 2008 to the present, including the popular detachable flangeball Witter towbar.

Please note that the Honda Jazz Hybrid models produced between 2011 and 2015 are not approved for towing.

There are two main towbar wiring options available: Universal Aftermarket Wiring and Dedicated Vehicle-Specific Wiring.

Universal aftermarket wiring is the lower-cost option but comes with compromises. Dedicated vehicle-specific wiring—also known as plug-in kits or dedicated wiring looms—is increasingly popular and represents the correct solution for modern Honda vehicles.

Vehicle-specific wiring integrates seamlessly with your Honda’s onboard systems, enabling built-in safety features such as Trailer Stability Control and automatically disabling parking sensors while towing.

Each wiring kit is designed specifically for the vehicle it is fitted to. Unlike universal wiring, which often requires soldering or Scotch Locks, dedicated kits connect directly to the vehicle’s systems exactly as intended by the manufacturer.
